    The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All Team Member's must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move Team Members from their accustomed shift as business demands change. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times


    • Responsible for all aspects of managing the kitchen and Kitchen personnel, ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items and proper handling/storage of all food items in accordance with standards.
    • Coordinates the purchase of all food and develops menus, maintaining approved food cost and labor cost.


    • Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship
    • 2-5 yrs of experience in a similar position at a 5 star hotel or restaurant
    • Ability to work all stations in the kitchen
    • Food Handling certificate
    • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish with Guest, co-workers and management
    • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
    • Knowledge of Food Cost Controls
