    The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All Team Members must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move Team Members from their accustomed shift as business demands change. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.

    Responsabilidades

    • Assists the Director of Sales with the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for the hotel, including securing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts, to maximize the profitability of the hotel and maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Sells hotel guest rooms, catering services, and banquet facilities through direct client contact to maximize total rooms revenues and profits.
    • Establishes client base of organizations, associations, and corporate businesses through direct outside sales (sales blitz) and inside sales effort.
    • Develops and maintains relationships with key clients in order to produce corporate, group and convention business.
    • Negotiates guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
    • Confirms in writing to the client all requirements via sales contract.
    • Conducts tours of the hotel and banquet facilities and entertains qualified potential clients.
    • Attends and represents the organization at trade shows and conventions.
    • Responds quickly to guest requests and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Conducts site inspections.

    Cualificaciones

    • College degree is preferred. Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
    • Knowledge of computers sufficient to fulfill management functions
    • Self-discipline, initiative, and leadership ability
    • Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to clients problems
    • Must possess excellent communication skills in Spanish and English
