    The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All Team Members must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move Team Members from their accustomed shift as business demands change. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.

    Responsabilidades

    • Reviews and processes purchase requisitions, purchase order adjustments and check-enclosed requisitions for purchases and departmental support.
    • Carry out comparison with the user department head, for the received quotations
    • Analyzes, identifies, and communicates information regarding purchase orders utilizing out-of-network vendors; identifies problems relating to purchasing issues.
    • Ensures verification of invoice details & documents accompanying the supplies as need per Purchase Orders
    • Verifies receiving records against purchase requisition and purchase order for goods received. Review process including reconciling purchase orders with shipment receipts, verifying weights, quantities, etc. Shipment receipts should be checked off and initialed by the purchasing officer and retained on file
    • Distribute by Fax or E-mail all documents to departments or suppliers concerned
    • Reports immediately on errors arisen during daily routine job
    • Maintains and updates departmental files and databases
    • Verifies and inputs vendor data into system; develops reports to track vendors and vendor categories
    • Coordinates with Accounting Department all Check Request & Checks for Vendors
    • Performs all other duties as assigned by Director

    Cualificaciones

    • Previous experience in purchasing
    • Works independently, self-starter who is organized and detail-oriented.
    • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish)
